Meditation for Overcoming Stress
Monday, April 1, at 6:30pm-7:30pm
with Buddhist nun, Gen Jindak

Dania Beach Paul DeMaio Library
1 Park Ave East, Dania Beach FL 33004

Using meditation we learn that stress does not come from external situations but rather from our response to them. In other words, it comes from our mind. By learning how to “drop out” of a stressed mind and into a clear and peaceful one we can learn to respond to problems differently, in a more centered, flexible and effective way. Then we can gain new perspectives on our difficulties and respond skillfully and peacefully.

This meditation class includes a relaxing breathing meditation, short talk and guided meditation relating to the topic. There will be time for questions. Everyone is welcome; no experience necessary.
