“Since happiness and suffering are parts of the mind, if we want to avoid suffering and find true happiness we need to understand the nature and functions of the mind.” – How to Transform Your Life, Geshe Kelsang Gyatso
When anxiety and depression are strong, we have little ability to control our physical and emotional states. However, even the physical symptoms of these horrible states of mind are coming from something inside our own mind, so if we start to work on our mind steadily and with persistence, we will gradually start to develop more strength and stability of mind. This workshop will introduce simple meditation practices and special ways of thinking for training our mind to become more positive, peaceful and at ease.
