In celebration of KMC Fort Lauderdale’s grand opening of our new temple, we invite you to join us for a weekend filled with inspiring teachings, meditations and chanted prayers. In this weekend, you will learn powerful ways of transforming your mind, healing your heart, and finding release from the internal pain of the three poisons: attachment, anger and ignorance.

Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche is the founder of the New Kadampa Tradition, an international union of Kadampa Buddhist Centers with over 1,100 Centers and branches worldwide. Geshe Kelsang is primarily responsible for the worldwide revival of Kadampa Buddhism in our time.

Gen Kelsang Demo is the principal teacher of the event and granting the Medicine Buddha empowerment. She is the Midwestern US National Spiritual Director, and Resident Teacher at Kadampa Meditation Center DC in Washington, DC.

Gen Kelsang Norbu is the Resident Teacher of KMC Fort Lauderdale and has been practicing meditation and studying for over 10 years.
