“Meditation makes our mind peaceful, and when our mind is peaceful we are happy all the time, even if our external conditions are poor.” – The Mirror of Dharma With Additions, Geshe Kelsang Gyatso

Whenever we meditate, we are performing an action or karma that causes us to experience peace of mind in the future. This retreat will introduce two simple meditations that are very good for reducing anxiety and depression in general, and for encouraging ourselves spiritually in particular. These are the first two meditations of the stages of the path to enlightenment.

Registration Policy: If you cancel 24 hours prior to the start of the event we will refund all except 25%. If you cancel on, or after, the event, no refunds are given. Exceptions may be made in circumstances such as sickness or bereavement; you should apply by e-mail to within 2 weeks of the end of the Event. Any non-refunded fees arising from cancellations are donated to the NKT-IKBU International Temples Project.
