“We should know that learning to cherish others is the best solution to our daily problems, and is the source of all our future happiness and good fortune.” – The Mirror of Dharma with Additions, Geshe Kelsang Gyatso
Even though we want to be happy all the time and we want to be free from problems and suffering, we still experience many problems as a result of not thinking about others and their needs. In truth, all the happiness there is in this world arises from wishing others to be happy. In this retreat, our Resident Teacher, Gen Norbu, will teach and guide us through meditations on loving kindness, compassion, and the supreme good heart, bodhichitta.
