“Just as I want lasting happiness, so do all other beings. In this way we are all exactly the same. Is it not unreasonable to seek my own happiness but neglect the happiness of others?” – Universal Compassion, Geshe Kelsang Gyatso
In the Summer of 2008, Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche taught a special commentary to the famous text Training the Mind in Seven Points by Geshe Chekhawa (1102-1176). This commentary includes a special presentation of how to share our love with others through practicing the meditation known as “equalizing self and others” in four simple stages. In this retreat, our Resident Teacher, Gen Norbu, will share these precious teachings with us, and guide us in meditation on them. Very rare – not to be missed!
