“The definition of delusion is a mental factor that arises from inappropriate attention and that functions to make the mind unpeaceful and uncontrolled.” – How to Understand the Mind, Geshe Kelsang Gyatso

There are many psychological theories in the world, but finally the only way to understand your mind is through personal observation. Also, there is a big difference between studying the mind out of intellectual curiosity and doing so for the purpose of solving the problem of human suffering. Buddha observed and understood his own mind at the deepest level, for the purpose of solving the problem of human suffering.

These classes will offer a Buddhist presentation of many different things we can observe in our own mind, helping us understand what we see, and offering solutions that come from such understanding. Start at the beginning of the series if you can, but if you miss the beginning, then start when you are able.
