“If we really want to be truly happy and free from suffering we must improve our understanding of the mind.” – How to Understand the Mind, Geshe Kelsang Gyatso

We all want to be happy. We are happy when our mind is at peace. Our mind is at peace when all the parts of our mind are working well together. What are the parts of the mind? There are five parts of the mind that are always active. These five parts are called: feeling, discrimination, intention, contact, and attention. In these classes, Gen Norbu will give an introduction to each of these. The emphasis will be practical. Meditation will be used as a tool to understand and work with our mind. Special ways of thinking will be given for us to use in daily life.
