Mon, Mar 13: More Dharma Less Drama

What does it mean to use Dharma in daily life? Buddha teaches that our meditation does not need to be limited to the time we have to sit in formal meditation practice. We can learn to integrate the insights and the peace of mind we experience in meditation into our modern, stressful, busy life. This class includes guided meditation and practical advice to make our life more peaceful and enjoyable–whatever is happening.

Mon, April 10: The Power of Patience

In this class, we will explore tried and tested methods for letting go of, not repressing, anger and resentment, without taking it out on others. The practice of patient acceptance, when combined with wisdom and compassion, is the most effective way to work with our unhappy feelings, learn from them, and then heal our mind and our heart so that we can finally get some peace.

Mon, May 8: A Good Heart

The mind that loves and cherishes others is extremely precious. Keeping such a good heart brings only happiness for yourself and all those around us. Meditations on love help to develop greater peace of mind and happiness, and to improve our relationships with others through learning to love and cherish them.

Gen Kelsang Jindak

has been a disciple of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche for over 20 years. Ordained as a Buddhist nun in 2003, she was given the name Kelsang Jindak, which means “Fortunate Benefactor”.
