“All the happiness there is in this world arises from wishing others to be happy.” – Shantideva, quoted in How to Transform Your Life

From the depths of our heart, we want to be happy all the time, but we are not usually very concerned with the happiness and freedom of others. Unfortunately, we will never find real happiness by ignoring the needs of others. We can, however, find real happiness by learning to cherish others, which means thinking that others are important and that their happiness matters.

In these classes, Gen Norbu will introduce the basic Buddhist meditations on cherishing others or loving-kindness. Recommended reading: How to Transform Your Life by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso. Free download here
