“Homage to Tara, the Swift One, the Heroine, whose eyes are like a flash of lightning, who arose from the opening of a lotus, born from the tears of the Protector of the Three Worlds.” – Liberation from Sorrow: Praises and Requests to the Twenty-one Taras

Come and join us for this alternative celebration for ringing in the new year by engaging in chanting (in English) to Tara, the female enlightened Buddha of wisdom and swift compassion. Each session will emphasize twenty-one traditional verses of praise which are very powerful because they are Sutra, the actual words of Buddha. If we recite these verses, we shall receive inconceivable benefits, including protection from obstacles, fulfillment of our spiritual wishes, and an increase in our own wisdom and compassion. Feel free to join in for any or all of the sessions.

Registration Policy: If you cancel 24 hours prior to the start of the event we will refund all except 25%. If you cancel on, or after, the event, no refunds are given. Exceptions may be made in circumstances such as sickness or bereavement; you should apply by e-mail to ad@meditateinfortlauderdale.org within 2 weeks of the end of the Event. Any non-refunded fees arising from cancellations are donated to the NKT-IKBU International Temples Project.
