“If you realize your own mind you will become a Buddha; you should not seek Buddhahood elsewhere.” – The Oral Instructions of Mahamudra, Geshe Kelsang Gyatso

Every year, the New Kadampa Tradition has three International Festivals: Spring, Summer, and Fall. When Ven. Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche was still teaching publicly, he encouraged us to always have the wish to attend all three of these, but of course not everybody has the conditions to go to them in person every year. This year, our Resident Teacher, Gen Kelsang Norbu, will be spending the summer in England, returning back home to Fort Lauderdale with a wealth of teachings and experience to share with us from the Festival. This retreat is our opportunity to receive his impressions from the summer, and to meditate on the profound practices he brings back and shares with us. Very special—not to be missed.
