Becoming a member of Kadampa Meditation Center Fort Lauderdale is a great way to support your local meditation center while also saving on class and event fees.

All membership options include free entry to all our weekly drop-in meditation classes at the Center and its branches. Our Standard and Plus level members also receive discounts for many of our special events. A summary of the benefits for each membership level is below.

Your Membership Supports Temples & Centers Worldwide

Kadampa Meditation Center is a 501(c)3 non-profit religious organization. Your membership will support the daily operation of our local Center and ensure that we can continue to offer classes and events in the South Florida area. Our Center offers a place of spiritual refuge for those wishing to develop their inner peace, compassion and wisdom through the practices of meditation and modern Kadampa Buddhism. The center is run by volunteers and all proceeds are donated to the International Temples Project, an international charity founded by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche, which supports the development of Kadampa Buddhist temples and meditation centers like ours all around the world.

Automatic Renewal
A monthly recurring payment will be automatically charged to the credit card you provide. Cash and checks are not accepted for membership payments. Monthly charges to your card will continue automatically unless we hear from you.

Declined & Expired Cards
If at any time your card is declined or has expired, your membership will be suspended immediately, and you will receive an email with instructions on how to provide updated payment information and reactivate your membership.

Cancellation Policy
You may cancel your membership at any time by submitting a request by email to adkmcfortl@gmail.com. You must provide at least 5 days advance notice for cancellation. Cancellations will be effective on the next renewal date after the date of your email. No refunds will be issued for the remaining days of the month after the cancellation date.

When does my membership begin?

You can use your membership to attend classes and receive event discounts as soon as you sign up.

How do I pay my monthly membership fees?

Once you sign up, your membership fees will be automatically charged each month to the credit card you register with. Cash and checks are not accepted.

Can I share my membership?

No. Membership benefits apply to one adult member only and are not transferable.

Can I use my membership to attend other Kadampa Centers?

No. Although KMC Fort Lauderdale is part of a global organization and there are many Kadampa Centers worldwide, each of our Centers are independently registered, so your membership only covers classes and events directly organized by KMC Fort Lauderdale.

How do I cancel my membership?

You may cancel your membership at any time by submitting a request by email to adkmcfortl@gmail.com. You must provide at least 5 days advance notice for cancellation.
