Blue Sky Mind
Meditation on the Nature of Our Mind

Sat, July 18: 10 am – 12:45 pm
with Kadampa meditation teacher Dawn Jackson

In our busy lives, it can be hard to believe that we have the potential for mental clarity and deep inner peace. With so many worries and distractions, we can get used to a background hum of anxiety and tension most of the time. The best way to get in touch with our profound potential for inner peace and clarity is to meditate on the mind itself.

With regular practice, this meditation will completely transform your life. In this Saturday morning retreat, Dawn Jackson will explain the process and guide the meditations, giving you the opportunity to discover a deep happiness and contentment in your own heart.

“Taking the mind as the object of meditation has a number of advantages. It makes it easier to attain tranquil abiding concentration, to overcome external distractions, and to realize emptiness.” ~ Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso

Dawn Jackson lives on Florida’s Treasure Coast and was previously active with Kadampa Meditation Center Long Island. With over 20 years of experience, she has taught general program meditation classes, the Foundation Program, and classes for children and teens. Her encouraging and joyful style makes it easy to learn how to apply Buddha’s teachings to our daily lives so that everything we do becomes a meaningful practice.
