Guided meditations and teachings with modern Buddhist nun, Gen Jindak

Heart Jewel Prayers: The Heart of Kadampa Buddhist Practice

On these Monday evenings Gen Jindak will explain and guide meditations on Heart Jewel. These chanted prayers are the heart of Kadampa Buddhist practice and the best way to integrate Buddhist meditation into our daily life.

This puja – or chanted prayers – includes two important practices, first Guru yoga in which we can purify negativity, accumulate merit, and receive blessings. The second practice is relying upon the Dharma Protector Dorje Shugdent to overcome obstacles to our practice and create the conditions we need.
